North Carolina's
Tribunal Records continues to expand their roster with two new signings,
Rifles At Recess and
Brand New Disaster. Originally started in 2001, Rifles At Recess is a technical metal/hardcore group from Tennessee. Previously releasing a four-song demo entitled "The Art of Flying Without Sky," the band has been compared to Caliban, Morning Again and Arkangel. here. As for Brand New Disaster, they are a rock/punk outfit from Virginia. They previously released a self-titled eight-song CD. Both bands will be entering
The Basement Studios with producer
Jamie King (
Bloodjinn,
BTBAM) in early 2003 to record their Tribunal debuts, which should be out in Summer of 2003.
