Diamond Plate adds new guitarist

Chicago thrashers Diamond Plate (Earache Records) are pleased to announce the addition of Mario Cianci to the band as the group's second guitarist.
The 18-year old has been friends with Diamond Plate for a number of years, having first heard of the band through the Internet shortly after they formed.
Diamond Plate have issued the following statement:
"We've taken these past few months to really analyze what we could improve on as a band, and we decided that in order to take our live show to a new level, we needed to add a second guitar player to thicken up our sound. Mario is the perfect guy to fill that spot, and we can't wait to tour and give fans the strongest live show possible."
