After two months of touring, Dillinger Escape Plan have been home and in the studio. They're currently mixing their collaboration with Mike Patton, "Irony Is A Dead Scene." According to the band, some song titles include "When good dogs do bad things", "Pig Latin", and "Rock, Paper, Scissors". The tentative release date for the effort is mid to late-August through Epitaph Records. Look for the DEP to also be putting out a split with Los Angeles group The Icarus Line in the near future on Buddyhead. For those of you that missed the band on the road in the U.S. because of cancellations stemming from their European tour with System Of A Down, the band is currently booking make-up dates, so stay tuned. For now, you'll be able to catch the band on the following dates, before they head back to Europe for two more weeks of touring in May.
