Long Beach, California based
Revolution Mother has signed with
Ferret Music. The group recently completed recording their second full-length, "Rollin’ With Tha Mutha," which was produced by
Fred Archambault (
Valiant Thorr) and will be released on July 7th.
The band is fronted by pro skateboarder Mike Vallely and includes former members of
Mean Season and
Outspoken. According to Vallely, "We were looking for a home that we could get in at the ground level and that had an audience that would appreciate us. Ferret has that built in and also a great track record with bands that we respect."
Describing the band's sound, Vallely says, "At the end of the day we are a rock n roll band. We have hardcore, punk and metal influences but really we're just playing overdriven blues."
