Nothing these people, or puppets, in this movie did was funny. Nothing. I get it, it's supposed to be kinda campy and self-aware so as to not be a "nerd-film", but really, it's just a fucking nerd film that has some strong innuendo and sexual situations.

It wasn't that the movie was bad; the action was pretty good, the environments well-created, and the puppetry was an unexpected thing to see emerge, but everything that was supposed to make those things appealing just wasn't there.

I would suggest maybe watching it on T.V. someday.

you are probably talking about this. seems to be a love it or hate it movie:

its either 'duuude, this movie was so genius and like the director invented his own camera just to film it! i mean, its literally the future' or its 'this movie is filled with pretentious fags and in real life i would hate every single one of these people because they are hipsters'. both probably have their merits. those seem to be the popular angles to play on it.

Never saw MASH before now. Donald Sutherland was probably gaunt even as a baby.

The Skin I Live In - 9/10 - My favorite Almodovar movie to date. A Shakespearean tragedy that is exciting and unpredictable throughout. Dense and rewarding, by the end I had encapsulated myself in a body-cast of dried semen.

only reason its not pefect is because it should have been 6 hours of reliving my childhood instead of 2.

Bill Cunningham New York - 8.5/10 - Documentary about an old man who has done art for the sake of art for most of his life, declining large sums of money offered to him in order to keep his vision pure. Like Winnebago Man and Marwencol he seems to be fueled by some deep repression. Iz good.
