willy_wanker 2/14/2018 12:24:40 PM
is you cant really test drive it first
BULLETHEAD 2/14/2018 12:27:23 PM
they let you bang around on them at the store. i see it all the time
zordy 2/14/2018 12:27:57 PM
its drums bro what is there to test drive about it????you hit them with sticks and it makes a loud noise hellya its working
willy_wanker 2/14/2018 12:37:20 PM
drums are not like guitars. guitars they have hanging all over. drums are too big and they only have maybe 1 or 2 set up and theyre never the good ones
BULLETHEAD 2/14/2018 12:41:13 PM
good point. drums are stupid
xander_christ 2/14/2018 12:43:10 PM
They usually intentionally set up the shittier ones so all you non musical retards that go in can go axe the cymbals and beat up the heads while you pretend you could actually do that in a band. Or really expensive kits that you almost have to commit to if you're going to give it a full on go.
bulletsofdusk 2/14/2018 12:43:22 PM
How about leasing a kit?
BULLETHEAD 2/14/2018 12:43:25 PM
you pull out a fat wad of dollar bills and i bet they'll set up any kit you want pretty quick though
xander_christ 2/14/2018 12:44:07 PM
*clobbers crash cymbal with drum stick handle*

I could be in a band.
shitinyourhand 2/14/2018 12:48:27 PM
you're just lazy. any place will trade out an entire kit if you're not digging it. seems like you just don't want to go through the hassle.

also, get a DW
willy_wanker 2/14/2018 12:52:29 PM
dw? i aint made of money
shitinyourhand 2/14/2018 1:40:22 PM
