Every few hours I glance at Yahoo's homepage to check the news headlines. I've been doing this for many years. I don't want to miss anything too important, like nuclear war, a plunging stock market, or Dave Mustaine's thoughts on Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. Wait, what?
Strange. The media must really hate Newt Gingrich to have used Mustaine's recent political musings as a headline. In fact, if you read the actual
article, while Mustaine did call Gingrich "that angry little man," he also said, "I still like him." No big deal, right? Wrong! This is a very fucking big dea... just kidding. It really isn't a big deal. So they definitely do hate Gingrich, right?
But then I glanced back at the Yahoo headlines and noticed a few others: "Man suffers heart attack while eating at Heart Attack Grill." And "Obama catches Lin-sanity: Is 'very impressed' by Jeremy Lin." It suddenly dawned on me -- Yahoo sucks.
Oh, well. Before heading to CNN.com, I did get a chuckle out of some of the user comments to the Mustaine article:
